2004/12/17 -- ULRMC held the 3rd Working Group meeting of the UNEP-WCMC project "Biodiversity Indicators for National Use (BINU)" The main objective of this meeting was to inform the members of the Work group about Project final outputs and achieved goals (May-December, 2004); discussing and approval these results, e.g.: i) the most important package of bioindicators' fact sheets, as well as web-search tool, which has been created by BINU team especially for this purpose, ii) materials for future National Reports on the State of Agro-biodiversity in Ukraine, iii) RS and GIS materials. During this meeting members of Working group examined Project's materials and outputs, which planned to be included into monograph 'Bioindicators for National Use: theory, methodology, and practice' (prior title).
2004/11/30 -- ULRMC representatives, Dr. Vasyl Prydatko and Oksana Volosko-Demkiv, participated in a three days InternationalWorkshop Understanding the linkages between biodiversity andpoverty, hosted by BINU counterpart Ecociencia, 24 – 26 of November 2004 in Quito, Ecuador.

2004/09/21 -- BINU Project use USDA's experience communicating withfarmers about wise use of the nature
2004/07/21 -- ULRMC together with other NGOs attended the Nature Workshop, organized by the Office of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality at the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Ukraine.
2004/06/18 -- ULRMC together with UNEP-WCMC and RIVM held an International Workshop for National Parties of the BINU Project in Yalta, Ukraine.
2004/04/27 -- Participants of ULRMC's National Meeting on Biological Indicators for National Use were hosted to an all-day field trip to explore agricultural systems on the example of Kyiv Oblast.
2004/04/26 -- ULRMC organized a National Meeting on Biodiversity Indicators for National Use (BINU) project to overview the progress of Project implementation in Ukraine.
2004/04/23 -- ULRMC hosted and participated in a roundtable on remote sensing and GIS application in agriculture.
2004/03/16 -- ULRMC held a Scientific and Technical Advisory Council (STAC) meeting.
2004/02/26 -- ULRMC held a second work group meeting of the UNEP-WCMC project "Biodiversity Indicators for National Use (BINU)".
2004/02/13 -- ULRMC representative, Dr. Vasyl Prydatko, participated in seminars and meetings, held within the framework of The Seventh Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity which took part in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
2003/11/14 -- ULRMC Representative and Project Manager of "Biodiversity Indicators for National Use (BINU)" project participated in the 9-th session of Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA) of the Convention on Biodiversity which took place in Montreal, Canada.
2003/10/23 -- ULRMC held a Scientific and Technical Advisory Council (STAC) meeting.
2003/07/04 -- An international team of biodiversity experts converged atUNEP's World Conservation Monitoring Center in Cambridge, UKfor a workshop on Biodiversity Indicators for National Use (BINU).
2003/05/25 -- ULRMC representatives participated in the Sixth InternationalConference "Geoinformation Technologies in TerritorialDevelopment Management" that took place in Yalta, Crimea.
2003/03/01 -- ULRMC signed a Service Agreement with the United NationsEnvironment Programme - World Conservation Monitoring Centre(UNEP-WCMC), United Kingdom, on implementing the Biodiversity Indicators for National Use project in Ukraine.
