March 16, 2004 - ULRMC held a Scientific and Technical Advisory Council (STAC) meeting. Among the participants and members of STAC were the representatives of Altarum Institute, US Agency for International Development (USAID), US Geological Survey (USGS), Institute of Space Research of Ukraine, Center of Aerospace Research of the Earth, State Service of Geodesy, Institute of Geography under the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, as well as the ULRMC staff and management.

STAC members reviewed the results of tasks completed for such projects as "Development of the State of the Dnipro Basin Environment Report," "Biodiversity Indicators for National Use (Agrobiodiversity) (BINU)," "The Altarum/Nansen University Fellowship Program (UFP): Four Year Progress Report," and "Development of the ULRMC Information System".

STAC meetings are held every three months. The main task of STAC members is to evaluate the on-going and completed projects, as well as to provide recommendations on more effective projects implementation.
