April 26-27 - ULRMC organized a National Meeting on Biodiversity Indicators for National Use (BINU) project to overview the progress of project implementation in Ukraine. The participants of the meeting presented the development and testing of the agrobiodiversity indicators and gave answers to the key questions.

During the meeting, the representatives of recipient-organizations received a training on indication, GIS and Internet services use, thematic mapping, indicators fact sheet completing and use, statistical data use, and preparation of the National Report on the State of the Agro-ecosystems in Ukraine (content, representation of results, lessons learned, recommendations, publishing, etc.). They also had a chance to discuss the tasks on the preparation for the international project meeting of the project representatives from the U.K., Canada, Kenya, Philippines, Ecuador, the U.S., the Netherlands and France scheduled for June 14-18, 2004, in Yalta, Ukraine.

On June 27, 2004 ULRMC organized for the participants an all-day field trip to explore agricultural systems of northern Ukraine.
