Montreal, Canada, the Expert Meeting on Indicators of Biological Diversity, Including Indicators for Rapid Assessment of Inland Water Ecosystems

10-12 February 2003 - Dr.Vasyl Prydatko, BINU-Ukraine Project Manager, represented Ukraine in Montreal, Canada, during the Expert Meeting on Indicators of Biological Diversity, Including Indicators for Rapid Assessment of Inland Water Ecosystems. Dr. Prydatko presented current results of Project implementation in Ukraine, as well as the materials of Ukrainian ecologists, containing information on RS and GIS applications. During the meeting there was a great opportunity for participating countries to exchange ideas and experiences related to biodiversity indicators and indicating, as well as to develop the needed support documents on these issues.
