November 4-6, 2003 - ULRMC participated in the International Water Forum AQUA Ukraine - 2003 held at International Exhibition Centre, Kyiv, Ukraine. The objective of the forum was to promote the advanced technologies use in water industry, experience exchange and civilized water market development in Ukraine. Different industrialists, manufacturers, researchers, as well as population of Ukraine took part in the forum.

About 60 organizations from different countries, working in the area of water protection, took part in the exhibition, organized within the framework of the Water Forum. ULRMC provided organizational and informative support for the exposition "Water Management System in Ukraine" and presented materials on: Assessment of Environmental State of the Dnipro River, Remote Sensing and GIS Use in Decision Making Process Within Water Industry, and Improvement of Flood Monitoring in Zakarpattia. ULRMC also showed to the visitors of the exhibition a short movie on its activities and capabilities in remote sensing and GIS use in solving other environmental problems of Ukraine.
